Southern Charm Cocktail Party

Our last cocktail party was such a success that we decided to do it again!  Let The Curious Heart and Debra's Simple Garden transport you south of the Mason Dixon line.  We will enjoy southern inspired cocktails and appetizers.  Scroll down for the mouth watering menu. Debra will talk about the traditions and history connected to these southern specialties.  As you sip and nosh we will do a deep dive into the true life scandal that is the story behind the book and movie Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil.*  If you don't know the story, you soon will! We will also talk about the history of the mansion and whether it is haunted by the ghosts of the people who died there.  A spooky tale perfect for the Halloween season that you won't soon forget! It's going to be a super fun and lively evening full of yummy food and spooky tales!

• Fire Crackers~Southern cracker with LOTS of spices backed onto the cracker. Warning: Highly addictive!
• Bacon Smokies~Serious southern soiree token appetizer...sweet, spicy, meaty!
• Shrimp 'n Grits~A southern staple! The best!!

Delectible Desserts:

• The Lane Cake~Fruit filled, bourbon spiked, meringue-topped cake.  To die for!
• CokeCola Cake~Chocolatey, moist...just heaven!
